When eight-year-old Irene is removed from her First Nations family to live in a residential school she is confused, frightened, and homesick. She tries to remember who she is and where she came from.

Skateboard Sibby

Never one to back down, when Freddie challenges Sibby to a competition on the half pipe, she accepts. No skateboard, no equipment, and a loss of confidence are just some of the obstacles she has to deal with.
