This board book introduces Sonoran Desert animals in the Tohono O’odham language. Each of the pages contains a cute drawing of an animal engaged in an activity and has an O’odham and English sentence. This book contains images familiar to O’odham culture to promote usage of the words at home, in the community, or in school. The board book also has a glossary at the end for quick reference. There is a QR code link that directs visitors to a webpage with the pronunciations of the words, numbers and sentences found in the board book.
