Caroline Woodward

Caroline Woodward is a writer of fiction for adults, poetry and children's books which have been nominated for eleven different awards between them all. She now lives and writes full-time in the village of New Denver, B.C. after working as a lighthouse keeper for thirteen years, based in the Gulf Islands. Her books include: A West Coast Summer, The Village of Many Hats, and Singing Away the Dark, which was published in French, Korean, Bulgarian, Chinese and Japanese. Caroline has written a bestselling memoir called Light Years: Memoir of a Modern Lighthouse Keeper. She has served on the boards of colleges and art councils. She and her husband co-founded and sold an independent bookstore and she spent eight years as a publishers’ sales representative.
