Matthieu Maudet

Born in Nantes, Matthieu Maudet spent his days with a pencil in hand. Years later, he left graphic design school with his hands full of pencils, brushes and a desire to illustrate. In 2005, he held his first comic book in his hands. Some sixty books and children's comics followed, published by L'école des loisirs, Frimousse, Milan, Thierry Magnier, Le Seuil and Pilpoil. Most of them written by Jean Leroy, Michaël Escoffier or himself. Today, Matthieu Maudet spends his days in Brittany… with pencil in hand, of course!
