Claire Eamer
Claire Eamer is an unashamed science geek who loves digging up fascinating information and passing it on to anyone who will listen—so it was inevitable that she would become a science writer. She has written a dozen nonfiction books, several fantasy/science fiction short stories for adults and young adults, as well as hundreds of magazine and newspaper articles and radio documentaries. Her books for young readers have won numerous awards for science writing, including the Lane Anderson Award for Canadian science writing and the American Institute of Physics Communication Prize. Claire grew up in Saskatchewan and now lives on Gabriola Island in British Columbia.
