Becky Citra is a former teacher and the author of twenty books for children. She lives part of the year on Saltspring Island and part of the year on a ranch in Bridge Lake, British Columbia. Becky enjoys hiking, kayaking, snowshoeing and gardening. She brings her knowledge of the outdoors into her books, often writing about ranch life and the wilderness.
