Farid Bazger

Farid Bazger, originally from Afghanistan and now based in Toronto, has written and translated hundreds of books, primarily for children and the health sector. His first children’s translation, The Adventures of Sinbad, was published in 1992, followed by his original Pashto story Asak in the Grip of Calamity in 1996. He has served as a Cultural Advisor for HOOPOE Books for over 15 years, translating and editing dozens of children’s books. A Little Halwa and a Big Family is his first Canadian publication.
