Marguerite Élias Quddus

Marguerite Élias Quddus was born in Paris, France. She and her husband, Abdul Quddus, married in 1965 and when he was offered a teaching position in Vancouver, the couple moved to Canada where their son, Michael, was born. They later settled in Montreal where Marguerite became very involved in volunteer teaching. Today, she is extremely active in giving talks about her war experience, travelling back to France to visit friends and spoiling her young grandson, Nicolas.
