Maja Kastelic

Maja Kastelic is a Slovenian author and illustrator. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana (2006) and at the Faculty of Humanities in Koper, where she graduated in 2010. In 2015, she received the Levstik Award and the Kristina Brenkova Award for the picture book Suis-moi. She was awarded a Golden Plaque at the Biennial of Illustration Bratislava in 2019. She lives with her family in Trebnje, Slovenia.
